Just barely moving forward, the collision avoidance system screeched alive with alarm and red blinking threats on the dashboard display. It happened frequently as we worked our way into heavy Neapolitan traffic. Scooters, cars, trucks and pedestrians getting close to our bumpers set the system into a frenzy of piercing alarms and flashing lights….
